Welcome to the Scottish Highlands through my eyes
The Scottish Highlands has some of the most beautiful scenic landscape, and i would like to share this with you, from the wild rugged coastline, to the serene lochs nestled under the beautiful mountains.
Over the past few years, my partener and i have walked, climbed and fished round a vast area of the highlands, taking photos as we went, and one thing we learnt very quickly was never to underestimate the scottish weather, it can turn very quickly from a beautiful sunny day, to a howling gale with torrential rain and back again.
At present the highlands are rich in colours, from the yellow blossom of the whin bushes to the bluebells and the apple and cherry blossom trees are laden with blooms, the hills are changing from the browns of the winter months to the greens of the ferns and grass and the purples of the heather.
I hope you enjoy sharing my journey through this beautiful country of ours.

This is the old man of Stoer,a sea stack in the north west Highlands of scotland, you can get to it via a footpath from Stoer lighthouse, or as wee did follow a rough path from Stoer bay along the cliff tops, where you see the most beautiful scenery and seabirds. When we arrived a group of lads had just climbed it, you can still see the ropes attached.
